the Second International Education Conference on Science, Technology, Education, Arts, Culture, and Humanity (STEACH 2)

Southeast Asia Design Research (SEA-DR) 8 is the eighth SEA-DR conference held in the Southeast Asia region with the aim of developing the design research field in Education. The conference also aims to disseminate research results related to design research both for policy interests and for practical use in their application in various educational disciplines. This year, SEA-DR 8 will be organized in a joint conference with the Second International Education Conference on Science, Technology, Education, Arts, Culture, and Humanity (STEACH 2) by the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Negeri Surabaya where six different interdisciplinary fields ( Science, Technology, Education, Arts, Culture and Humanity) become the scope of the conference.

Due to the continuing impact and future unpredictability of the COVID-19 pandemic, SEA-DR 8 and STEACH 2 will be held virtually. This was a difficult decision, but the safety and well-being of our participants are our utmost priority. However, such a situation could not stop our productivity to produce a paper and disseminate thoughts and research results.

We would bring “Empowering Creative Educational for Freedom of Teaching and Learning” as the conference theme with opening speech from a representative of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology* and keynote speakers as follow:
